We are not only a State Licensed Home Inspection Company, but have obtained the highest level of licensing in the construction industry. JCM Building Services has earned and maintains a General Contractor license as well as a Home Inspector license. With over 30 years experience in home inspections, insurance inspections, Building Science, and the home buying process JCM Building Services can provide you with the quality inspection you need.

In Florida, a “Certified General Contractor” means a contractor whose services are unlimited as to the type of work which he or she may do. It is the highest level licensing in the construction and building industry. To have a license as a General Contractor in the State of Florida, a person must demonstrate years of experience in multiple areas of the construction and home building process, obtain an affidavit of their qualifications and experience, pass 3 major proctored exams, demonstrate financial competence, have liability insurance, and pass a fingerprint background check.
We are very proud of our General Contractor License. Most of our competitors are only licensed Home Inspectors and lack the level of experience or education in construction and building science to qualify for a contractor’s license.
